Yep, it's the Golden State Warriors, later called Golden State Project due to legal problems (there exists a basketball team "Golden State Warriors", too). It's a group that was consisting of X, Ras Kass & Saafir. Another group by X that sadly never dropped an album...
But I'm LOVIN' it, that he now releases old songs, so tight!

No problem.
Just listened to the track again - I thought it was good at first, but nothing outstanding compared to X's first two albums. It definitely grows on me! Ras just plain KILLS it on his first verse and the hook is totally sick, the way they rap, they just suit perfectly to eachother. Damn it, I want a Golden State Project album right now!
Plus I love it when tracks aren't like: First rapper - hook - second rapper - hook and so on. It really has a real group feeling to it.
