As an underground rapper he started as Xzibit A, because his name is Alvin. He later shortened it to just Xzibit. :D At least that's what I heard!

Well Justin did ask for some ?'s to ask X - several times and not a lot of people supplied stuff via the actual thread. We did have some under here but... anyhow, we have what we have. For me, it wasn't all about the ?'s presented. Mr. Joiner's whole vibe was not as good as he can be. Like I said back then, I don't know what else might have been on his mind but he was definitely very tired. This can make or break any interviewer as we all have heard/seen.

My suggestion to Justin was (and still is) too lighten the mood by asking off the professional tense but yet personal questions. He doesn't want to go there ya have it.

He was filming X Files 2 most recently and probably still has other filming to do afterwards. He's been involved with a total of 3 films and only one is semi-complete. I deeply apologize on the name as I glanced and then answered as best I could. Justin (site & forum owner) was on X's label forum when he was on the label prior to Koch, I forget now. Anyhow, they made connections there if I am correct as Xzibit posted loads as people are telling me. Justin had the site part and then added the forum once he realized that that forum was soon going to be done away with since X was no longer on THAT label. I landed on that old forum just prior to it closing but long after X had stopped posting on it. I did get to see a few posts and was not a believer. Even coming here, I still did not beleive X himself was posting. So, Justin gave me and others duties as moderators soon after the forum opened and here we are.

Xzibit did post on his MySpace quite regularly and BTW- he has NO photoshopped pics up. All of his photos are authentically real. Anyhow, I was not made a believer until he sent me a message over there and then he made some visits here too. Took awhile as I've been connected to celebrities since '95. Not many make the effort ONLINE that Xzibit does. He really goes above and beyond and is really appreciate of the support he gets from people no matter the length of time they've known who he was or from where.

The show title is PIMP MY RIDE and he no longer speaks on it. The show has long been over and we all have moved on.

Keep in mind the Blog posts forum (http://www.xzibitcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21) is transferred from MySpace. He does not post it on the forum himself but they are his exact words from over there. As fr being "mere mortals", to me... Xzibit is just like me. He has a job, bills to pay and headaches to cure. WE ARE ONE. His paycheck maybe larger and his choice of how to cure said headaches is definitely different than mine options but we all eat, sleep and crap the same. Some more, some less... still happens never-the-less.

Well Sympathy, when I started my research for the people I do 10+ years ago, I too wanted "their" attention because of it. Then, someone said "be careful what you ask for..." I'm sure you know the rest. You never know if it is what you say nor how. I was the most pessimistic person as for "celebs" answering PERSONALLY online. A few people here know how I was about Xzibit ever posting in here for the LONGEST time.

I kinda got a lil surprise one day from Michael Delorenzo and I have been ok with if they do or if they don't make the "personal" connect I wanted. After that, I asked myself... "do I really NEED for them to talk TO me? Know me if this is something I chose to do as in be a supporter and self appointed researcher?? Granted this is from the perspective of the posts you see that I've created and/or speak under in here.

From the position where others are as just supporters not really researchers... I'd still be the same way. I mean, I do no research for say Samuel Jackson but I love ans support all his work even if he never knows my existence. This is me, the older than Xzibit by a few years talking. You may have a completely different agenda/desire. I'll just say this. I am ever so grateful that Alvin shut me up (laughs) by reaching out to me AND also to those he has given his large support base since I've been here. To come here and wish Billooh a personal wish... he moved higher on the props list with me. I'm actually ecstatic that he made Billooh's day whether he talks to me any where on this net or not.

It's not personal, I'm just dialoging. And it is grand speaking to you as I sense a mature individual that's cool to converse with. About his music... I'm NOT hugely into the hiphop/rap stuff now. I heard Shady really wanted to sign X a few years back, but X got trapped in his record deal and they wouldn't let him go because they didn't wanna lose another potential 50 Cent - is that true?
