I had a lil birdie swoop in and let me know that Mr X. was in Toronto filming what appeared to be a martial arts video these past few days. Todays' text confirms it as well. The set was closed off to the public but maybe someone will check in and fill us in on more details. ;)

Sounds like they would have been filming the video for concentrate... with the whole chanting theme in the background?

I dunno, thats just my guess anyway.

And here's what the birdie said in reference to that

"...music video that involves extras that have black belts in Maartial arts or Karate..."

Xzibit Has More To Pimp Than His Ride

Fresh off the Scarborough, Ontario video shoot for his new Rick Rock-produced single, "Concentrate," revered rapper/actor/television personality/all-around rich guy Xzibit relaxes in a Toronto-area restaurant waiting for his bacon-wrapped scallops to arrive. Needless to say, life is good.

"In L.A. and New York, I walk in and they got my name on the wine," the pampered MC explains. "I'm a creature of habit. If I could have a girl get on top every time, I would."

Hold up, you're Xzibit, a man ChartAttack once referred to as a "revered rapper/actor/television personality/all-around rich guy," couldn't you have a girl on top every time?

"Yeah, I could. But then she start complaining I'm being lazy, I'm not attending to her, I'm not being 'sen-si-tive.'"

Regardless of his bedroom preferences, Xzibit is used to being on top. After countless career successes, the rapper's currently celebrating the upcoming release of his sixth album, Full Circle, which is due on October 17. This time out, after working with California greats like King Tee, Tha Alkaholiks, Dr. Dre and, as previously mentioned, Rick Rock, the definitive west coaster hooks up with executive producer Keith Shocklee. As part of Public Enemy's The Bomb Squad production team, Shocklee last united east and west by helping compose the cluttered aural assaults on Ice Cube's classic 1990 debut, AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted.

For this and many other reasons, Xzibit says Full Circle is his best album since 2000's platinum-selling Restless. But it isn't just a good album. It's an emancipation proclamation that sees the rapper moving from Sony to the independent KOCH Records and gaining, in the process, increased business and creative control and, most importantly, ownership of his masters. "It's not that I have a negative attitude towards Sony," Xzibit says, approximately 13 seconds after claiming, "Sony sucks."

"But it wasn't the place for me. I sold two million records on [independent label] Loud. But then we get on a big juggernaut company that's so disorganized that I can only get to 500,000 per record? That sounds like ****ery to me."

Thankfully, Xzibit has distanced himself from said "****ery." He also notes his new deal's absence of "riff-raffing" and "flim-flamming." Seriously. The dude talks like Mr. T. How ****ing cool is that? Don't you wish you were Xzibit?

"I'm gonna start making Xzibit suits and you mother****ers can wear them on Halloween," the entrepreneurial MC jokes. "You can wear the cornrows and put a big face on you."

It's not impossible. At this point, Xzibit's tried every career path short of synchronized swimming. Along with his latest album, he's also promoting a new movie. In case you want to give the guy even more money, the inspirational Gridiron Gang — in which Xzibit co-stars with The Rock as you-can-do-it Coach Carter-types — comes out September 15.

Perhaps most notable, however, is Pimp My Ride, Xzibit's immensely popular MTV vehicle, which has earned its host millions of additional fans. "Now everybody and they grandma come up asking me about cars," he says.

"I was at the Coliseum in Rome looking at the fountain and this old lady in her seventies comes up, pushes my security out of the way, pinches my cheek and puts her face really close to my face and tells me how much she loves me on my show. That was in Rome. And they really don't like black people out there either."
