I must have visited too early b/c I did not see an auction up for the above messages. There's one for Dixie Chicks and 2 for Queensryche (forgive the spelling).

I would love to attend this show. Girrrrrrrl, they are showing last years show on MTV2 and I am SCREAMING. Grand Master Flash & the FF were on and Salt, Peppah and SpinDAHrella too. Both Queen Latifah & Eve in essence said that if it weren't for SP & S, they wouldn't be where they are today. I taped the next airing of it but if you all want to see what goes on, look here:
2005 (http://www.vh1.com/shows/events/hip_hop_honors/2005/)
2004 (http://www.vh1.com/shows/events/hip_hop_honors/2004/)
I love what Mr. Russell Simmons said something like - the KIDS today don't respect the pioneers of yesterday. If you guys get a copy of the 2005 version, pay close attention to Grandmaster Flash and what he goes down in music history for. Not too many of these fly by song so called artist will be recorded in history for much more than their last/highest selling album. GMF & FF are HISTORY!!

You know what I thought of when I was watching the lil bit I did manage to catch (came in late on it). When X said about 40 yr old rappers. Man, anyone I recall from the 80's came out, I was like... WOOOOOOW! (laughs)

Go here (http://www.vh1.com/shows/events/hip_hop_honors/2006/) and see that V-Spot OnDemand video section, click 'Watch More On V-Spot' then when that Video OnDemand player loads look for 'Hip Hop Honors 2006 - Behind The Scenes.' Expand the section w/X's face and then you will see 'HHH: Lil Jon/Xzibit Honoring Ice Cube'. Xzibit has a lil interview w/Salt, Peppah & Spinderella!!
Here's 2 pixs from the event. They also have him in the Red Carpet segment and in the Red Carpet Photo section. He says his word from back in the day was "fresh".

Here's what SOHH Eighty of SOHH.com had to say about X's performance:
I don’t know if anybody else noticed, but when he was performing Xzibit looked like he was on steroids or some ****... He looked like he was mad frustrated that there was nothing on stage for him to punch.
And ya know what? Now that I think back, I am LMBBAO as I can truly say I agree with that last line, no doubt.
